YOOPER MOTORCYCLE SHOW, ATV FUN RUN, SWAP MEET & TRUCK MUD RUN

LISTEN TO WIN! Keep listening to The Bear Radio (105.1 FM on our dial) to win tickets for the Yooper Motorcycle Show VIP Sunset Boat Cruise Sunday May 25, 2008 8:45pm-10:45pm. Cruise under the Mackinac Bridge and view a spectacular sunset over Lake Michigan in the Straits of Mackinac. Cash Bar available.

The show/swap meet will be held at Little Bear East Arena and Event Center, 275 Marquette Street, St. Ignace Michigan from 10am-6pm Saturday May 24 and Sunday May 25. Rain or Shine. Announcements during the Show supersede all other information.

Spectator admission is just $2 on Saturday! It's Michigan's newest motorcycle event, as seen in The Porcupine Press (www.upmag.net), with spectacular waterfront and Mackinac Bridge views! Sunday's admission at the gate is only $5 and includes the Mud Run too!

Rock out with 'Catholic Girls Gone Bad' in the Budweiser beer tent from 2-5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday! You can also listen to 'All Good Soundz' during show hours in the Little Bear Arena. The St. Ignace Jazz Band will perform on Sunday afternoon from 5-6pm during the Awards Ceremony for Bikes and Mud Trucks. Reserve your tickets now for the VIP Boat Cruise under the Mackinac Bridge Sunday night. Space is limited, so if you want to insure the opportunity to sail the Straits of Mackinac aboard the motor vessel Straits II and enjoy the sunset over Lake Michigan call now!

One of our featured guests will be builder Ron Finch. Ron was the winner of the Discovery Channel Biker Build Off. Ron's bike "Double Cross" will be showcased in the St. Ignace show along with some of his other works. You can also join the "Remembrance Ride" Monday morning, May 26th, as the procession will follow the water's edge thru beautiful downtown St. Ignace and culminate with a short ceremony to bless the bikes and pay tribute to our service men and women.

TIME: 8:00 – 10:00A.M.

START: Castle Rock parking lot—Castle Rock phone 906-643-8268

FINISH: Bridge View Park parking lot— Mackinac Bridge phone 906-643-7600

ROUTE: Staging at Castle Rock parking lot at the north end of business loop I-75. Use I-75 exit 348 or State Street (Business Loop) Escorted ride will proceed from Castle Rock parking lot onto State Street, south and west through the City of St. Ignace to left hand turn from US-2 onto Boulevard Drive and south to Bridge View Park at the southwest end of Mackinac Bridge Authority property. The ride is about 6.5 miles.

Participants will register and line-up between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. at Castle Rock; (Pre-registration available at the Show Saturday & Sunday); procession will begin from Castle Rock at 9:00 a.m. sharp and conclude at Bridge View Park approximately 9:30 a.m. & the Remembrance Ceremony/Blessing of the Bikes will begin about 9:40 a.m. and conclude by 10:00 a.m. Participants will depart at their own leisure.

The Truck Mud Run will take place on Sunday, May 25th, with truck registration from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Registration fee of $5.00 per person includes admission to Yooper Motorcycle Show events. On Saturday, May 24th, "Mud Run Trucks" will be on display at the outside show area of Little Bear East. For more details on the May 25th Truck Mud Run, click here!

ATV FUN RUN

M.C. SORVA Fun Run

Saturday May 24, 2008

An ATV Fun Run will take place simultaneously with the Yooper Motorcycle Show.

  • Registered participants can travel along any of the route options, stopping at businesses to collect stamps on their registration sheets. (Signatures will not be accepted.)
  • Playing cards are drawn at the ending location. The number of cards each participant receives depends on the number of stamps received during the run.
  • Participants will select their 5 best playing cards to create their playing hand. Prizes are awarded to the players with the best Poker Hands.
  • Registration will be at Little Bear East Arena Saturday May 24, 2008 from 8a.m. till 11:30 a.m. Registration fee is $10 per participant.
  • Registration forms must be returned and cards drawn at the ending location (Little Bear East) between 6p.m. and 8p.m. Saturday to collect prizes.
  • No prizes will be awarded after 8p.m.
